We were in an exceptionally nice and unbeatable location short walk to Sunset State Beach, and the most beautiful beaches.

Excellent value for money. Staff (Mellissa at late arrival, and Sam at Breafast were ) most cordial and helpful. Rooms although basic were spotless and spacious (over 30 m2) with all necessary amenities : fridg', micro wave, large safe box, king size bed...To ensure quietness pls ask room on backside (we took 316...so quiet...). Had a very pleasant night and provided full recovery.
No negative remarks. Just excellent service for a competitive price.

Very practical hotel, well equiped ; microwave and coffee machine in the room ; large room and large bed. Breakfast not fabulous (no fruit, yogourt ...) but honest. Lot of hotels announce that there is wifi in the room, but often it doesn't work. In this hotel, wifi was perfect.
The carpet in the corridor and in the room was certainly quite old and this gave a not fresh smell.

It is a very homely, comfortable place where people leave me alone to do my own thing. The room provides all the facilities I need and is clean and well-kept. It's also pretty quiet at night, I have never been disturbed by noisy neighbours. There is hot water downstairs so I can get tea whenever I like. I always stay at the inn when I am visiting the area for business, which is once or twice per year. Everything I need is close by (shops, laundry, gym, workplace).
There is nothing I don't like, I find it ideal.

Furniture/environment was old and worn. Pillows were like pancakes. Breakfast offerings were minimal and the room size was not adequate for the number of people. Definitely a no frills place.

The food was good with variety of alternatives. The excellent staff was much appreciated. Location: the hotel was so close to Rodeway Inn in Barstow as well as Monterey and Santa Cruz, the two big tourism spots. Also, it was 5 mins drive from Ramsay Park.

The price, it was clean and quiet.
The coffee was awful! A good cup of coffee is very important first thing in morning! Also some sort of pastry wrapped would be the way to go, not unwrapped waffles!

I enjoyed the cleanliness and comfort of the room, along with the fast-working Wi-Fi. The mini-fridge and microwave came in handy, especially for late-night snacks. The pool felt refreshing, and I appreciated that it was well-maintained. Check-in took a while due to only one person at the front desk being available. The extra fee for a pack and play for my toddler was unexpected and not ideal. Location is convenient, but it felt dark and a bit isolated at night, with nothing walking distance. Good for the price, but expect a few inconveniences.

Close to great beach cities at a good price....staff was good
I hope they are in the process of remodeling and had not quite gotten to our room...needs lots of work!! Bathtub was dangerously slippery...outdated TV...sparse breakfast...second day we just went out

It was close to a meeting I needed to attend. It had a small refrigerator and microwave in the room.
The carpet was dirty with several stains by the beds. The toilet had stains and therefore looked dirty. The window would not close all the way, leaving a 1-1/2 inch crack open thru which we could hear street noise.

Somewhat comfortable bed and many channels on the TV.
The first room they set me up with was very dirty. The sheets were stained and the walls were extremely dirty. I asked for another room and was moved with no problem. The new room was dirty, but not as dirty. Even the toilet paper on the roll was used, with only about a quarter of the roll left. The floor of the shower was stained from what looked like a shower mat that had been removed. All in all, a bad experience, and nowhere near worth the $62 I was charged.
